Note: Source file actions and options depend on the source control application you are using. The following information applies to Surround SCM and Helix Versioning Engine. If you use a different application, refer to its documentation for information.
View a source control changelist attached to an item for more information about it.
Surround SCM
You can view details for pending and committed changelists.
1. Click the Source Files tab when you are editing an item. The Source Files tab is on the Files tab in requirements and test cases.
2. Select the changelist and click View.
The Changelists dialog box opens.
3. Select a changelist or file and click View Details to view more details about it.
4. Click Close when you finish.
Helix Versioning Engine
To view Helix Versioning Engine changelists from Helix ALM, the Helix Visual Client (P4V) with P4VC must be installed.
1. Click the Source Files tab when you are editing an item. The Source Files tab is on the Files tab in requirements and test cases.
2. Select the changelist and click View.
The Submitted Changelist dialog box opens.
3. Perform any actions. See the Helix P4V help for information.
4. Click Close when you finish.
