View or set server options to control Surround SCM Server functionality.
To only display server options, enter the command without any options.
Note: Some server options can be overridden for specific mainline branches. See mainlineoption.

| -a | Maximum memory (MB) that Guiffy can use. |
| -b | File extensions to ignore when recursively adding files. |
| -c | Compress files stored on Surround SCM Server. Enter -c- to disable. |
| -d | File extensions to auto-detect when adding files: Text, Binary, MacBinary, UTF8, or UTF16. |
| -e | Encrypt server communications. Enter -e- to disable. |
| -f | Allow check in of files without check out. Enter -f- to disable. |
| -g | Use Guiffy for automatic merges. Enter -g- to disable. |
| -h | Display online help for the command. |
| -i | Interval minutes for server to look for new report stylesheets. Valid values are 5, 10, 30, and 60. |
| -j | Minimum length of user comments added to state change events. Enter a number between 0 and 4096. |
| -k | Expand keywords. Enter -k- to disable. |
| -l | Seapine License Server address and port number. |
| -m | Allow multiple users to check out files. Enter -m- to allow one user check out a file at a time. |
| -n | File or directory names to ignore when recursively adding files. |
| -o | Purge scheduling for destroyed database records. -o: Automatically purge destroyed data (recommended) -o[0-7]:hh:mm: Purge on a specific day and time each week (use 0 for every day) -o-: Never purge destroyed data (not recommended) |
| -p | Seapine License Server communication password. |
| -q | Large file size limits. Enter the maximum file size (1-99999 MB) and delta maximum file size (1-2000 MB). |
| -r | Minimum length of user comments added to events. Enter a number between 0 and 4096. |
| -s | Minutes between global user cache refreshes. |
| -t | Enable image file thumbnails. Width and height can be between 16 and 512 pixels. Enter -t- to disable. |
| -u | Local SCM Admin password. |
| -w | Allow workflow state changes during check in. Enter -w- to disable. |
| -x | Changelist usage. -xc: Users can use changelists -xm: Users must use changelists -xn: Users cannot use changelists -xh: Allow Surround SCM Server to retain historical changelist information |
| -y | Enter a Surround SCM username and password if you do not want to use the default value. To use single sign-on, enter -y+. To use external authentication, enter -y= and the external authentication plug-in directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\Seapine\Surround SCM\client_authentication). |
| -z | Enter the Surround SCM Server host computer address and port number if you do not want to use the default value. IPv6 addresses must be in square brackets. |
| +u | Display output in Unicode (Windows only). Output cannot be sent to a file. If output is enabled for all commands, enter +u- to disable it for this command. |
