Check out files when you need to make changes. Edit the files and then check in the changes when you are done or are ready to share the changes with other users. If you create new files as you work, add them to Surround SCM to make them available to others.
Depending on your security permissions, you may be able to move, rename, and remove files in Surround SCM.
