Committing pending changelists

Changelist actions are not performed until you commit the changelist. When you commit a changelist, all files in the changelist are submitted to the server at the same time.

1. Choose Tools > Changelists.

The Changelists dialog box opens.

2. Select the changelists and click Commit Changelist.

The file actions are submitted to the server.

• If the transaction is successful, the changelist is removed from the pending list and added to the committed list.
• If a transaction fails, an error is displayed. Correct the errors and recommit the changelist.
